According to our reliable source, Katrina Velarde is one of the girls completing the trio New Born Divas who was hailed as the eleventh Hall of Famer at the reality talent show Talentadong Pinoy of TV5. She is currently residing at Tondo, Manila.

It is said that Katrina was born on December 5, 1994. She has to send herself to school because of financial problems. She also has to find ways to support her younger siblings.

Although she has experienced life's difficulties even at an early age, she managed to keep herself happy by doing what she loves the most, singing. She started singing at the age of seven years old.

She later met Jennifer Maravilla and Alyssa Kate Quijano. The three girls decided to form a trio to join a TV contest. Their group's name, New Born Divas, came from their common friends' suggestions. From then on, they started competing in singing contests until they decided to join Talentadong Pinoy.
